Knit Unique Classes!

Happy Spring! 

 

On the official first day of spring, Knit Unique would like to present our Saturday "Learn to Knit for Five Bucks" workshops!  Yes, it's true!  Farol and Peggy will take turns teaching the basics of knitting every Saturday in April!  Check out the class schedule HERE for exact dates!

 

In addition to the Saturday workshops, Peggy will once again (back by popular demand!) be holding her "Procrastinate no More with Peg" session on April 14th (Monday) from 5 - 7 p.m.  She will help you get "unstuck", find your way through a pattern, or choose your next pattern!  Class fee, just $5.00! 

 

Start the New Year off with…

BEGINNING KNITTING and MORE!!

Farol will be teaching you to knit while you make a pair of fingerless mitts!  You will learn the art of casting on, knit purl, cast off, and seaming!  Meet at the shop (27 North Main!) from 

5:00 - 7:00 

January 15, 22, and 29.  

You will need to bring:

Worsted weight yarn

US size 8 needles

Stitch markers

Tapestry needle

Traditional Socks!

Come and learn to make a pair of socks the traditional way - on double points!  You will learn to knit a basic sock and see sample patterns for variations on the basic theme.

Peggy's Beginning Knitting Class Project!



Rita's sweater and hat from the hugely successful Grammy's Favorite Knits for Baby class!  Everyone in the class chose the set they wanted to make and Rita coached them through it!  The set included sweater, hat, booties and mittens. With a little arm twisting, Rita just may be convinced to do it again!
